Where did i go?
I'll usually go a few days without writing something. But it's been a while since my last posting. What the hell have I been doing? Working, surfing, and just got back from Thailand.
The work part is self explanable. If there is actually anyone that reads my blog, the surf part is now an extension of my day to day rountine. I don't make it out there everyday, but it is one of the things I plan for everyday. I guess I obsess over conditions, where to go, and dream about how good it will be be when I make the paddle out.
Well, Thailand was amazing. I don't have the energy to write a full recap right now. 7 connecting flights in two weeks have gotten me drained all the way down. My sleeping patterns are screwed up and I need to get up to go back to the 9-5 tomorrow. Sucks. I don't want vacation to end.
To sum it up, Thailand is beautiful, bountiful and a special place. The people are warm and inviting. The food lives up to its hype, especially the street food you find at every road side. Picture your favorite thai resturant, and now imagine the flavors 10 times as sharp, fragrant and aromatic. Now factor in the cost of 2 dollars for lunch for two and you have the epicurian delight people dream of when they seek out new food ventures.
